Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on February 27, 1997.
The wing is taken from the old arms of Mupperg. The pine cone is a canting element, a pine tree is also known as a Föhre in German. The wavy bend refers to the Lindenbach river in the municipality and the bordure refers to the nine villages in the municipality.
