German In Gold ein laufender roter Dorfbrunnen.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in 1956.

The arms are based on the seal from 1939, which shows a canting landscape of woods (holz) and a well/fountain (bronn). In 1956 this was simplified and the arms now only show a (wooden) fountain.
