Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on November 16, 1961.

The tree is a linden tree and, together with the sword, refers to the old court being held in the village. The roses are taken from the arms of the Hallermund county, to which the village hoistorically belonged.

The glove symbolises the fact that in the 1960s the producten of leather gloves was of importance in the village.
