Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on September 23, 1992.
The red and silver are the colours of Thüringen. The grapes symbolise that until the late 19th century grapes were grown in the village. The oak leaf is a canting symbol for the Eichelberg mountain. The wavy bend is the Saale river, whereas the three stars are the three villages of Kaulsdorf, Tauschwitz and Eichicht.
