Origin/meaning
The arms show the bordure of the Princes of Fürstenberg, to whom the area belonged from 1321 until the 18th century. The bend and stars appear in the early 19th century, but their origin is not known.
The above arms were proposed in 1903 by the State Archives, but only in 1913 the local council accepted the proposal.
