State : Rheinland-Pfalz
Incorporated into : 1969 Bernkastel-Wittlich
German |
Origin/meaningThe arms were granted on December 5, 1949. The arms are a combination of four territories to which parts of the district historically belonged. About half of the municipalities in the district belonged to the State of Trier, hence the cross of Trier in the first quarter. Literature: Stadler, K., 1964-1971. |
