Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on December 13, 1965.
The arms were first mentioned in 1718, and show canting reeds (Kolben) on a mountain (Berg). The colours are also known since 1718. The arms became obsolete in the 19th century and were restored and officially granted in 1965.
Literature: Stadler, 1964-1971, 8 volumes.
