German | Unter goldenem Schildhaupt, darin eine schwarze Hirschstange, in Silber ein grüner Kohlkopf. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The cabbage in the arms already appeared as a village sign in the 16th century. The cabbage symbolises the importance of cultivating vegetables in the area for many centuries. The arms were most likely officially granted in the early 17th century by the Dukes of Württemberg. The arms combine the cabbage with a chief with the deer antler of Württemberg.
