In Rot eine silberne Frauengestalt mit goldener Augenbinde, in der erhobenen linken Hand eine goldene Waage, in der rechten Hand ein goldenes Schwert haltend, die rechts oben von vier goldenen Sternen (1:2:1) begleitet wird.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on February 1, 1995.
The arms show Lady Justice, taken from the seal of the local court from 1681. The four stars were added as symbols for the four villages in the municipality; Schwansee, Kranichborn, Kleinrudestedt and Grossrudestedt.
Hupp showed in the 1920s the arms with the whole figure of Lady Justice in different colours, see below.
