Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on May 10, 1977.
The arms show three roses, one for each of the former municipalities. The roses are derived from the arms of the Lords of Eberstein, who owned much of the territory for many centuries.
Previously the town used arms with a rose and a bunch of grapes, symbol for the viticulture in the area. These arms were granted in 1969.
