Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on August 11, 1969.

The swan refers to the Schwanberg mountain and the medieval Schwanberg castle in the village. The grape refers to the importance and reputation of the local vineyards and wines.

The colours are those of the State of Würzburg and the Franken region.
