Van azuur met een pelikaan van goud, vergezeld van zijn drie jongen van dezelfde kleur, de hij met zijn bloed voedt - het schild rechts getopt met een staf van goud, de kromming naar buiten, en links met een abtsmijter van dezelfde kleur.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on October 25, 1954.
The arms are based on the old parish seal, known from 1766. The composition is taken from the arms of the Ename Abbey, hence the mitre and crosier, which owned the village until 1799.
