ALBERTSHOFEN

State : Bayern
District (Kreis) : Kitzingen

Wappen von Albertshofen/Arms (crest) of Albertshofen
Official blazon
German

Durch schräglinken silbernen Wellenbalken geteilt von Schwarz und Rot; vorne zwei silberne Balken, hinten drei eins zu zwei gestellte silberne Kugeln.

English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on January 30, 1969.

The three balls in the base are the symbol of St. Nicholas, the patron saint, who also appeared on the historical village seal.

The two silver bars in black are taken from the arms of the Lords of Mauchenheim, who, in the 18th century, ruled most of the village. The silver bend is the Main river and silver and red are the colours of Franken.
