German In Blau ein springendes goldenes Einhorn mit ausgeschlagener roter Zunge und gespaltenen schwarzen Hufen.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on November 5, 1993.

The arms are base don the 15th century seal of the town, which already showed the local patron saint St. Eustachius. Seals with a similar design have been used until DDR times.
