State : Rheinland-Pfalz
Urban district (Stadtkreis) : Kaiserslautern
Incorporated into: 1969 Kaiserslautern
German | blazon wanted |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on March 22, 1926.
The arms are based on the old seal of the village, known since 1736. The three squirrels are derived from the arms of the Otterberg Abbey, as the village was a possession of the Abbey. To distinguish the arms from those of Otterberg a green wavy bar was added as a canting element (Bach means stream, brook).
