German	In Blau ein rot bewehrter goldener Löwe, der die linke Vorderpranke auf einen silbernen Schild stützt, darin zwei schräg ünereinander gestellte und durch ein rotes Kreuzchen verbundene sechsspeichige rote Räder.

The arms were granted on December 15, 1949.

The arms are a combination of the lion of the arms of the city of Homberg and the wheels of the city of Fritzlar.
