Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on April 8, 1991.
The arms show a cuckoo on an oak branch. The green symbolises the forests around the village, whereas the cuckoo is derived from a local legend of te Reitzenhainer Kuckuck. The chief symbolises the fact that the village was a spossession of the Counts of Hessen-Rheinfeld-Rothenburg.
