HINTSCHINGEN
State: Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis): Tuttlingen (until 1973 Donaueschingen)
Incorporated into: 1974 Immendingen
German | In Gold mit silber-blauem Wolkenbord eine gestürzte blaue Pflugschar. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted in 1910.
The arms show a plough iron, a symbol for the agricultural character of the village, within the bordure of the Counts/Princes von Fürstenberg, as the village was part of the Fürstenberg estate from 1321 until the late 18th century.
