German In Rot ein mit drei roten Wecken belegter goldener Schrägbalken, begleitet oben von einem goldenen Salbgefäß, unten von einem kurzen goldenen Schwert.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 22, 1963.

The bend is taken from the arms of the Lords von Eickel in different colours. The jar and sword are the symbols of St. Lucia and St. Margareth respectively, patron saints of the chapel in Rodentelgen.
