Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on ?
The upper half of the arms show a Bronze Age chain hook, which refers to the many archaeological findings in the area.
The wheel refers to the former mill in Malstedt, which was already mentioned as a possession of the St. George Abbey in Stade in 1132.
