German | In Gold drei rote Balken, überdeckt mit einem großen schwarzen „L” in gotischer Schrift. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on July 19, 1963.
The bars are taken from the arms of the Wolf von Lüdinghausen family, who lived for 250 years until 1649 on the Füchten estate in the municipality. The colours are taken from the arms of the Von Fürstenberg family, who also owned a large part of the area. The letter L is the initial of the village.
