Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted in 1955.
The arms show three scallops, both as a symbol for the patron saint, St. James, and as a symbol for the fossilised shells that can be found in the municipality. The colour green is taken as a canting element, loh meaning forest.
