In Gold (Gelb) und Schwarz geteiltem Felde oben ein nach links gekehrter schwarzer rotbewehrter doppelgeschwänzter Löwe, unten ein silberner (weißer) Lorbeerkranz.

The lion is the lion ofthe County Jülich, to which the village historically belonged. The laurel wreath is a symbol for the former Commandry of the Teutonic Order in the village.
