Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on December 4, 2008.
The frog is a canting element, as the name can be translated from early Slavonic as 'frog-eaters', which probably refers to the many herons and storks in the area.
The fire refers to a logal legend, in which the onwer of the local estate rode around the village during a fire. Herewith he took the fire and prevented more damage to the village.
