BIEDERSHAUSEN
State : Rheinland-Pfalz
District (Kreis) : Südwestpfalz
Verbandsgemeinde : Verbandsgemeinde Wallhalben
Official blazon
(de) Von Schwarz und Gold schräggeteilt, oben links ein rotbewehrter und -bezungter goldener Löwe, unten rechts ein linksgewendeter roter Pflug.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on October 23, 1981.
The village historically belonged to the Counts of Zweibrücken and later to the Dukes of the Pfalz-Zweibrücken. The lion of the latter is shown in the upper half. The plough in the lower half is a symbol for the agricultural character of the village and is shown in the colours of Zweibrücken.
