Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on May 12, 1980.
The upper half shows a wavy bend, symbolising the Jütenbach, from which the name of the village is derived. The river marked the lower border of the Danish Juts (Jüte in German) settlements in the region. The lower half shows a wheel of a train locomotive, symbolising that the village is on an important railway junction since 1869. The colours are those of the region Schleswig.
