German heraldry:

Selected collector's items from Germany:

JETTENBACH

State : Bayern
District (Kreis) : Mühldorf am Inn

Official blazon

(de) Unter blauem Schildhaupt, darin ein waagrecht liegendes silbernes Flammenschwert mit goldenem Griff, in Silber drei zwei zu eins gestellte rote Rosen mit goldenen Butzen.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 8, 1974.

The three roses are taken from the arms of the medieval Törring family, who had many possessions in Jettenbach and surroundings. They played a major role in the local history and development. Since 1860 the family is known as counts of Törring-Jettenbach.

The flaming sword is the symbol of St. Michael, patron saint of the church in Grafengars in the municipality.
