OBERALLGÄU (OA)

State : Bayern
Additions : 1973 Kempten, Sonthofen

Wappen von Oberallgäu

Official blazon

(de)

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on November 23, 1973.

The arms are mainly based on the old arms of the Sonthofen district, in which the flower is replaced by the blue bar. The blue bar is derived form the blue-red division of the arms of the Kempten district.
