(de) In Grün eine ausgerissene goldene Linde mit 21 Blättern; im Schildfußbereich mit einem silbernen Wellenbalken belegt.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on May 25, 1999.
The linden tree was a common element in the old seals of the former municipalities. The 21 leaves refer to the 21 villages and hamlets in the municipality.
The wavy bar refers to the Ilm river.
