Auf Rot ein goldener Sparren, begleitet oben von zwei silbernen sechszackigen Sternen und unten von einem abwärts gekehrten silbernen Halbmond.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on January 4, 1929.

The arms are based on the old Amt Winzenburg district, which was part of the State of Hildesheim.
