Selected collector's items from Germany:

DAHLEM

State : Nordrhein-Westfalen
District (Kreis) : Euskirchen
Additions : 1969 Baasem, Berk, Kronenburg, Schmidtheim

Wappen von Dahlem

Official blazon

(de) Von Silber nach Rot geteilt; oben ein wachsender gold bewehrter roter Adler, unten drei (2 : 1) schrägrechts gestellte silberne Hämmer.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on April 6, 1976.

The upper part of the arms shows the eagle taken from the Lordship Kronenburg, the lower part is taken from the arms of Schmidtheim and represents the iron-industry in the area.

Previously the town used the arms below :

Wappen von Dahlem

I have no further information on these arms. Any information is welcome !
