German heraldry:

Selected collector's items from Germany:

FLECKEBY

State : Schleswig-Holstein
District (Kreis) : Rendsburg-Eckernförde
Amt : Amt Schlei-Ostsee (until 2008 Amt Schlei)

Wappen von Fleckeby

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on December 14, 1987.

The oak trump with two leaves symbolises the two villages Fleckeby and Götheby-Holm. The oak is chosen as a symbol for the many forests in the area. The hammer symbolises the local industries in the former centuries, when Fleckeby was the centre of a larger district. The wavy bar symbolises the Schlei.
