Selected collector's items from Germany:

KLEINMÜHLINGEN

State : Sachsen-Anhalt
District (Kreis) : Salzlandkreis (until 2008 Schönebeck)
Incorporated into: 2007 Bördeland

Wappen von Kleinmühlingen

Official blazon

(de) Gespalten von Silber und Blau; links ein silberner linksgewendeter Adler am Spalt mit goldener Bewehrung und roter Zunge, rechts eine blaue Windmühle am Spalt mit schwarzem Dach und Durchbrüchen.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in 1995.

The eagle is derived from the arms of the medieval Counts of Barby und Mühlingen. Even though the original colours were a silver eagle on red, the silver and blue have been used for more as 300 years as part of the arms of the Princes of Anhalt.

The windmill is a canting element and also refers to the local windmill.

Siegel von Kleinmühlingen

The municipal stamp shown in 1892
