Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on ?

The arms refer to the former brick and tile manufacturing in the municipality. The structure forms the letter H, the town's initial. The acorn refers to nature, the lower half shows a typical tool used by shepherds and refers to the former importance of sheep herding. The red and silver are the colours of Niedersachsen.
