Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on ?
The pile is taken from the arms of the medieval Ritter von Selsingen. The stick refers to the Selsingen Court, one of the largest in the State of Bremen. The sword refers to Heyenricus de Selsinge, who fought against the heathens in Livonia (present Latvia).
