Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on August 24, 1956 and confirmed on November 3, 1988.
As there were no historical seals or arms known, the arms were newly designed in 1955. The town is an important regional spa, which is symbolised by the sun (fresh and healthy air and sun) and the watering can (the baths). The wavy bend is canting, Bach meaning stream or river.
