Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on ??

The winged goat is probably a canting symbol for the former Germanic settlement Villa Geizefurth, which historically was situated in the area.

In the early 20th century the arms below were shown in the Kaffee Hag albums. These arms show the same composition, but in different colours.
