Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on ??-??-??
The arms are based on the old seal of the village from 1636. The lion in the upper half is taken from the arams of the Rheingrafen, to which the village belonged from medieval times until the early 19th century. The base simply shows the town's initial.
