Origin/meaning
Berga was mentioned as a city already in 1386, but full city rights were granted in 1427.
The seals of the city showed a crucifixion from the 15th until the 19th century, when the oak tree appears. The meaning of the tree is not clear.
The arms by Hupp in the Kaffee Hag albums +/- 1925 |
