Additions : 1867 Neuschönau; 2003 Waltersdorf

Origin/meaning
The golden wall is the arms of the Oberlausitz region, to which the village belongs. The upper part shows the Lausche mountain (793 m), the highest point in the municipality and close to Waltersdorf. The two shuttles refer to the importance of the textile industry in the area.
