MUGGENSTURM
State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Rastatt
German |
In Silber eine blaue Lünse, begleitet von zwei blaubesamten roten Rosen mit grünen Kelchblättern. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
All seals of the town, dating from 1511 until the late 19th century show the village sign of Muggensturm in or without a shield. It is described as a wagon-plug. In 1900 the municipality proposed to add a rose, taken from the arms of the Lords of Eberstein. The village historically belonged to the county Eberstein. The State Archives approved the arms which were taken into use in January 1901.
