In Blau auf grünem Sechsberg ein rotes Kreuz zwischen zwei aus dem mittleren Berg aufwachsenden silbernen Lilienstängel.
Origin/meaning
Friedberg became a city in 1264 and the first seal dates from the same time. The seal, as did the second seal, already showed the same picture as the present arms. Its meaning is not clear, but, besides cosmetic changes, haven't changed since.
