German | In Gold eine silbergefugte schwarze Zinnenmauer mit drei geschlossenen goldenen Toren, auf der Mauer drei unterschiedlich gestaltete blaue rotbedachten Zinnentürme mit je zwei goldene übereinander liegende Fensteröffnungen. Auf den Dächern je zwei goldene Knaufe, der rechte mit einem. Zwischen den Türmen, der mittlere ist der höhere, je eine rote nach rechts wehenden Fahne. |

Origin/meaning
The arms show a city view and two banners. The composition already appeared on the oldest known seal of the city, dating from 1325. All later seals show the same composition.
