ZIRNDORF
State : Bayern
District (Kreis) : Fürth
Additions : 1976 Leichendorf; 1978 Bronnamberg
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on February 3, 1911 by Prince Luitpold of Bayern.
Older seals or arms for the town are not known. The arms show the fortifications of the Alte Veste castle, built in the 13th century by the Von Berg family and which was bought in 1306 together with Zirndorf by the Markgraves of Nürnberg.
