Origin/meaning
The arms show in the upper half the colours of the city of Nördlingen, as the village awas a possession of the Hospital in Nördlingen. The base shows the cross of the Teutonic Order, as the church of Enkingen belonged to the Chapter of the Order in Möttingen.
