German Über mit einem gestümmelten silbernen Adler belegtem rotem Dreiberg gespalten, vorne in Schwarz ein rotgezungter gekrön­ter goldener Löwe, hinten in Gold ein dop­pelgezinnter und silbern gefugter schwarzer Turm mit zwei silbernen Fenstern.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 23, 1964.

The lion is taken from the arms of the Lords of Felsberg. The tower refers to the local Felsberg Castle and the alerion is taken from the arms of Lorraine, to which the area historically belonged.
