Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 12, 2006.
The two birches are a canting element Briese is derived from birch. The base symbolises the Briese langer Nymphensee lake. The small shield sows a 'ladder' taken from the arms of both Bredow and Zeestow.
There seems to have been older arms of the municipality, but I have no information thereof. Literature:
