Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 11, 2012.
The arms show in the first quarter the old arms of Wettin and in the forth the keys from the arms of Löbejün.
The anchor refers to the former importance of shipping in the Saale river. They also refer to the former arms of Döblitz. The plough refers to the agricultural character of the municipality as well as the old arms of Brachwitz.
