Origin/meaning

In 2017 the village adopted new village arms.

Several old farms in the main street in the village have a specific brick gate, which is used as a symbol in the arms. Red and silver are the colours of Beelitz and Brandenburg. The beech trunk (Buchholz means beech-wood/forest) is a canting element.
