German In Schwarz ein silberner, beiderseits von zwei silbernen Fäden begleiteter Balken, der oben und unten von je einer silbernen dreizinkigen Gabel begleitet wird.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on January 7, 1937.

The bend is taken from the arms of the Von Heggen family, who, in medieval times, owned a large part of the area.

The pitchfork symbolises the local metal works and manufacturing.
